The 4 hermitages

The 4 hermitages

This is a mixed route regarding its difficulty and the type of ground. In spite of having the gentle climb to the small chapel of Montision (Porreres) in the middle, the first 35 kilometres will not be particularly complicated. We will ride on a quite flat land with the exception of some slides of minor significance.

Once in Felanitx we will begin the second ascension of the day: San Salvador. This one can be considered of real difficulty with 6km in length and an average slope of 6.5%.

After the descent we will ride to Petra on a flat land and once we reach the entrance of the village we will deviate to connect with the road that will guide us to the chapel of Bonany. This is a short climb (3.7km) although it has some demanding stretches.

At this point the ground becomes a leg workout for the next 15km where we will begin our last ascension: The Cura Monastery, of 4.5km long.

Once we reach the top of the mountain pass there is just the descent left and a ride on favourable grounds until we reach Llucmajor.
